Description: Normans Cay is a multi-phased remote island mixed use resort development in the Bahamas comprising the following key project components and phases:

Phase one is complete and established the new runway for the island with further improvements being planned, including a new terminal building, to establish the runway as a US Port of Entry facility. Within Phase One the existing island facility was upgraded to provide senior management accommodation on island in advance of major construction starting.

Phase two marina has been excavated and bulk heading to the marina perimeter is completed. The completed build out of the marina is being bid now for completion within the next 8 months. The marina scope includes a combination of wood framed docks for vessels up to 60ft with bespoke concrete floating docks for mega yachts up to 225ft. Both marina and aviation fuel system and a dry dock facility are included in Phase two.

Phase three includes the 30 guestroom high specification villa resort (eleven villas), common areas, back of house and associated site infrastructure works. This phase is under construction with the villas being bid now for a planned construction start in September, 2015. Completion is scheduled for December 2016 and includes +/-40,000 square feet of building area.

Phase four includes the marina village, yacht club, tennis facility, staff accommodation and marina resort with twenty five individual one and two bedroom villas totalling a further 35 guestrooms and an overall building area of +/-55,000 square feet. This phase is progressing through the design stage with bidding anticipated in the last quarter of 2014.
